Submit a tool

One scorecard. No exceptions.

Every tool in this library goes through the same four steps, whether it was submitted by a two-person startup or by a vendor with a marketing budget the size of our annual hosting bill.

Why this library exists

We run export operations for a living — supplier sourcing, product listings, campaign localisation, after-sales support across four languages. Between 2022 and 2025 we tried roughly two hundred AI tools, and the pattern was always the same: the ones at the top of the search results were the ones with the best affiliate programmes, not the ones that survived a Tuesday afternoon of real work.

Nexoralist is the list we wished existed. Every entry has been used on an actual task with an actual deadline. When a tool breaks on Chinese punctuation, invents an HS code, or quietly changes its free tier, that goes in the notes — because that is the information you cannot get from a pricing page.

The library stays deliberately small. Twenty-six tools that we would defend in a meeting is more useful than four hundred we scraped from a launch feed.

The four-step method

Roughly six hours per tool, spread across two people who disagree with each other on purpose.

STEP 01

Discover

We start from the workflow, not the product. What does a sourcing manager actually do on a Monday morning? Then we look for tools that shorten that specific loop — from launch feeds, vendor submissions and, mostly, from teams telling us what they already use.

STEP 02

Test on live work

Each tool gets a real brief: a 40-SKU listing in three languages, a supplier negotiation email, a 90-second product video, an RFQ comparison sheet. We keep the inputs and outputs so scores can be re-checked later.

STEP 03

Score against four axes

Output quality (40%), export readiness (25%), data handling (20%) and price-to-value (15%). Anything under 3.5 out of 5 does not get listed, no matter how good the demo looked.

STEP 04

Re-check weekly

Pricing pages change, models get swapped, features get paywalled. We re-run the same briefs every week and amend the listing — or pull it — when the output no longer matches the score.

What we will not do

Three rules that make the rest of it work.

Sell a ranking

Position is earned by the scorecard. There is no sponsored tier inside the library, and no “featured” badge that can be bought. The one ad slot on the homepage is labelled and never reorders results.

Hide the weaknesses

Every listing states who the tool is not for. If a free tier caps exports, if the API is US-only, if the Chinese output needs heavy editing — that sentence is in the profile, not buried in a footnote.

Publish your data

We do not resell contact details, we do not run retargeting pixels, and the only thing we ask for is an email address so we can reply. Anything you send stays in one inbox.

Disagree with a score?

Good. Tell us which tool and why, and we will re-run the brief. Corrections are published, not quietly absorbed.
